How my journey began

My healing career began in 1992, when I became a Registered Respiratory Therapist.  It wasn’t until two decades later, and a life-altering accident, that I changed the way I supported clients for good. In 2009 I fell off a roof and broke my back. The only thing conventional medicine offered me was pain meds. I knew there had to be another way. I turned to alternative medicine. Over the course of the next year I began a health and wellness journey that brought me to Lifewave patches and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping).  These tools taught me to appreciate the amazing ability of our bodies to heal and the integral role our mind plays in the healing process.  I am now thankful for my accident, and my choice to not resort to meds, as it inspires me to support that natural healing process in my clients.

My passion is helping people get out of mental, emotional and physical pain and trauma. My sessions empower clients to access their body’s innate strength and ability to overcome the symptoms of pain, depression, anxiety, addictions and limiting beliefs, so you can live your best life.

I care so deeply about this because I have had to overcome and continue to overcome so many limiting beliefs, pain and emotional traumas that made life so much more difficult than it needed to be.  I myself am so surprised how happy I can actually be.  I really want people to be happy and realize their amazing gifts to live a happier life.  I love seeing people overcome obstacles, become resilient and feel empowered to take control of their life and embrace their strengths.

What is EFT Tapping?

  • EFT means “Emotional Freedom Techniques” It is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma compromises both physical and emotional health.

Over 100 clinical trials have shown that EFT is effective for anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, phobias, cravings and addictions and many physical diagnoses. EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress.

EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy. These are combined with Accupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on 13 accupuncture points. For that reason EFT is often called Tapping.
